Aim. Turn a live camera into a deck of audio-aware looks for the stage screens at a gig, light enough to run on the show machine and cued by one operator.

What was made. A TouchDesigner patch: camera or NDI in, a deck of GLSL looks, NDI out. An operator panel has a look browser, A/B cue with a TAKE button, dials for each look and five transition modes. A setlist file maps looks to songs.

What we found. Looks judged against real concert footage, not test clips, stopped reading as amateur. The deck was edited down from 29 looks to 17 to keep it professional. The audio only drove the looks properly once the real analysis stream from Spectral Relay replaced a fixed tempo. Displacement effects need eyes, not numbers, to check.

Status. Used live at Kodaline, Virgin Media Park, Cork (19 June 2026) and Malahide Castle (20 June 2026).
